Closing the Gap is honored to introduce Gerardo Gonzalez as October's Closing the Gap News10 Student Scholar.    Gerardo is a senior at Grant High School in Sacramento and is working hard on attending Sacramento State in  the fall of 2010.

Gerardo is an inspirational example of how the life coaching provided by Closing the Gap makes such an enormous impact.   It has given him commitment and confidence to pursue college as well as the knowledge of the requirements needed to gain admission.
