Two bedrooms, four children and two hardworking moms are trying to make life work in a Sacramento apartment. In the middle is 17 year old Grecia Frias. Her story is compelling. She had a life changing experience through what's called a parent-teacher home visit.

ABOUT USClosing The Gap is a non-profit dedicated to raising money to fund programs in Sacramento, California that help local students avoid the academic achievement gap. Fundraising, grant awards, and business operations are overseen by an all volunteer board with support provided by all volunteer committees. More than 90 percent of dollars raised goes directly back into the community.
